Means test by filing date
The means test uses the U.S. Trustee Program tables for the filing date: the table for cases filed on or after July 15, 2026, and the table for April 1 – July 14, 2026. You can compare two filing dates side by side before choosing one. See the means test calculator page for the numbers and sources.
Fees in the Northern District of Georgia
The Chapter 7 filing fee in N.D. Ga. is $338 (court fee page). The software checks the fee choice: paid in full, in installments under the court’s local application (up to 3 installments, the last within 60 days; local form), or a fee waiver request when income is below 150% of the poverty guideline (U.S. Courts table).

Does it decide whether my client qualifies for Chapter 7?
No. It calculates the means-test forms from the numbers you enter and shows where each number comes from. The attorney decides.
Which filing dates does the means test support?
Filing dates from April 1, 2026 onward. Earlier periods are not loaded, and the housing table for April 1 – July 14, 2026 was not captured, so the software reports that gap instead of guessing.
