Northern District of Georgia bankruptcy e-filing
Counted Bankruptcy prepares the filing package for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia and checks it before the attorney files.
Pre-flight checks
- Creditor matrix: a .txt file, at most 40 characters per line and 5 lines per creditor, with no account numbers (court guidelines; .txt upload only).
- Documents that are missing for the chapter.
- The fee choice: paid, installments or waiver request (fees).
- PDF order following the court’s case-opening procedures, and file sizes.
NextGen XML draft
The software builds a NextGen individual bankruptcy XML draft and validates it against the national IEPD schema published on PACER developer resources. It is checked against the national schema only; the court may apply more rules.
Submission status
Direct submission to CM/ECF is off. We asked the N.D. Ga. for test access on September 18, 2026. Until the court grants it, you download the package and file it through CM/ECF yourself.

Does Counted Bankruptcy file cases with the court?
Not yet. Submission stays off until the court grants test access. The attorney files the downloaded package.
Are account numbers put in the creditor matrix?
No. The matrix follows the court guidelines, which exclude account numbers.
